RICH VS POOR MINDSET

Image
The most obsolete idea is go to school, get a job, work hard, save money, get out of debt and invest for the long-term in the stock market See, why would you save money when they're printing trillions of dollars? The gap between the 1% and 99% is massive. You see it's not just money, you have to step back and look at the bigger picture. So what do you do? In every one of us there's a poor person, there's still a poor person inside me. There's also a middle-class person and the middle-class person wants security they want that steady paycheck. And there's a rich person And they're all inside of us except that... It's not taught. It's- you're taught to go to school, get a job and get a paycheck. Not taught how to get rich. If you've read Rich Dad Poor Dad, my rich dad refused to pay me. He said the paycheck was one of the most damaging things you can take in your life. He says the moment you take a paycheck you're an employee and that...

Empty Your Mind - story

once upon a time a professor went to a zen master he asked him to explain the meaning of zen the master quietly poured a cup of tea the cup was full but he continued to pour the professor could not stand this any longer so he questioned the master impatiently why do you keep pouring when the cup is full [Music] i want to point out to you the master said that you are similarly attempting to understand zen while your mind is full first empty your mind of preconceptions before you attempt to understand zen if your mind is empty it is always ready for anything it is open to everything in the beginner's mind there are many possibilities in the expert's mind there are few you see in life in your life we all are full of preconceptions all the time we are constantly judging and trying to relate things actions disasters to one another but this is wrong our mind must be empty we should not have any preconceptions and we should take every event every word every feeling as what it is keep ...

7 Ways to Make a Conversation With Anyone

Image
Hello, everybody. I'm going to start with a question. How many of you know the person sitting next to you from before today? Interesting. So, do you remember the first conversation that you ever had with that person? You know conversations are links. Let's imagine every conversation to be a tiny metal link. And every time you talk to a stranger, a metal link is formed. And every conversation that you have after that moment, the link gets stronger and stronger. And every day each one of us meets so many strangers: the grocery guy, the cab guy maybe the receptionist at a new office you went to. And with every conversation we build new links. Until finally at the end, we've created a kind of massive World Wide Web of conversation. World Wide Web. It's a catchy word. I think I've heard that somewhere. That's it, right? A conversation. It's a fascinating thing. A conversation is an adventure. A conversation gives you a whole new perspective. A conversation open...

After Reading this, your brain will not be the same

Image
So how do we learn? And why does some of us learn things more easily than others? So, as I just mentioned, I'm Dr. Lara Boyd. I am a brain researcher here at the University of British Columbia. These are the questions that fascinate me. (Cheers) (Applause) So brain research is one of the great frontiers in the understanding of human physiology, and also in the consideration of what makes us who we are. It's an amazing time to be a brain researcher, and I would argue to you that I have the most interesting job in the world. What we know about the brain is changing at a breathtaking pace. And much of what we thought we knew and understood about the brain turns out to be not true or incomplete. Some of these misconceptions are more obvious than others. For example, we used to think that after childhood the brain did not, really could not change. And it turns out that nothing could be farther from the truth. Another misconception about the brain is that you only use parts of it at ...

Michael Jackson wanted to live for 150 years.

Image
Michael Jackson wanted to live for 150 years.  He appointed 12 doctors at home who would daily examine him from hair to toenails. His food was always tested in laboratory before serving. Another 15 people were appointed to look after his daily exercise and workout. His bed had the technology to regulate the oxygen level. Organ donors were kept ready so that whenever needed they could immediately donate their organ . The maintenance of these donors were taken care of by him. Top Sense He was proceeding with a dream of living for 150 years. Alas ! He failed. On 25th June 2009, at the age of 50, his heart stopped functioning. The constant effort of those 12 doctors didn't work. Even, the combined efforts of doctors from Los Angeles and California too couldn't save him. The person who would never put a step forward without the doctors suggestion for his last 25 years, couldn't fulfill his dream of living 150 years. Top Sense Jackson's final journey was watched live by 2.5 ...
