Arrival of foreigners from Kabul to Pakistan, booking in hotels banned

 

According to sources, the district administrations of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have issued orders not to book locals in 148 hotels, motels and hostels for three weeks as foreigners coming from Afghanistan will be accommodated in these places.


According to sources, the federal government has decided to accommodate foreigners coming from Afghanistan in all private hotels and 6 marquees in Islamabad where foreigners coming from Afghanistan will spend the transit period.


The district administration of Islamabad has also issued a notification banning reservations in private hotels across the city for 21 days, which will take effect from today.


On the other hand, sources said that the district administration and the police have completed all the arrangements in view of the arrival of foreigners. A security plan has also been drawn up to take the foreigners from the airport to hotels. Other law enforcement agencies will also assist.
